The Matrix OC Smithmance...Mary Sue...Thing.

The idea began to formulate itself in my mind toward the end of 2003, soon after the last movie came out. The first draft was started as my 2004 NaNoWriMo project. The first chapter was posted in May, 2005. Final count: 52 chapters. 159,868 words.

I still can't quite believe it, actually. Essentially, for about four years I've been imagining this moment, when there would be no more chapters to go, when the story actually would come to a conclusion. When it would be in fact finished. Completed. Done.

Except...It isn't.

The last sentence I actually wrote, as posted in the final chapter?

The journey will continue.
